Ayan Hersi-Essa, D.C. is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she majored in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Western State Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 2003. Dr. Hersi-Essa is Board Certified and Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In 2009, she and Dr. Hirsi-Essa joined forces and opened FOREST POINT Chiropractic & Rehab Center. Dr. Hersi-Essa has always been inspired by the natural and non-invasive ways in which the body can heal and regenerate itself. She is hands on in her approach and she gets to know her patients and their lifestyles, so she can develop the best treatment for them.
