ince she started her busy West Seattle chiropractic office in 1994, Dr. Robyn R. DeSautel has been dedicated to teaching her patients to recognize and support their own body’s innate healing intelligence.

Dr. Robyn R. DeSautel grew up in Montana, North Dakota and Iowa. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in pre-med and business at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and graduated with honors in 1988. She then took a year off to travel to Europe and other parts of the United States before starting her chiropractic practice. In 1989, Robyn moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Western States Chiropractic College (WSCC). While there, she was voted Student Activity Director and Vice President of the Student American Chiropractic Association. During her year-long internship, she worked at the Portland Outreach Program for the homeless and was chosen to work as a student teacher in WSCC’s adjusting classes. After just three years, Dr. Robyn graduated the four year program with honors in 1992.

Dr. Robyn spent two years working for two other chiropractors before founding DeSautel Chiropractic in beautiful West Seattle, Washington, where she continues to work to this day. Her practice is dedicated to helping all ages get the most out of life by getting more motion and energy in the body through chiropractic adjustments and exercises.

Consistent, ongoing education—both personally and professionally—helps Dr. Robyn be the best she can possibly be. Her additional training includes Spinal Rehabilitation, Whiplash Injuries, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Pettibon, SOT, Gonstead, Activator, Palmer Method, Upper Cervical, Nutrition, Stretching, and Trigger Point Therapy. She has taken over two hundred post-graduate hours of Continuing Education, and has taught numerous classes on posture and health throughout the Seattle community. She is currently published in a book on Fibromyalgia by Mari Skelly and Andrea Helm and is working on a motivational book which is not yet published. Dr. Robyn is a member of the Washington Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Association, World Chiropractic Alliance, and Better Business Bureau.
