Dr. Carson Aune, DC, MS was a two-sport athlete in college, playing two years of NAIA collegiate basketball at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. While at UMary, he also threw the javelin for the track program. He then transferred to South Dakota State University to focus his attention on throwing the javelin for the Jackrabbits until a low back injury forced him to end his career before he turned 22. While recovering from that injury, he decided that he wanted to dedicate his career to injury prevention and quick and effective rehabilitation.
