Dr. Steve was born and raised in Riverton, IL. He is married to Tiffany and has two children, Ava and Jack. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a bachelor of Science in Life Science from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. He also earned a bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has been a member of the Illinois Air National Guard, 183rd Fighter Wing for 18 years and is now a Captain. He is also an adjunct faculty member teaching biology at Lincoln Land Community College. Dr. Steve has been in practice in the Springfield area since 2008. He enjoys running, riding his motorcycle and spending his free time with his family and friends. He is a member of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, National Guard Association and the Springfield Milers Motorcycle Club. He is also a certified golf fitness instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. Dr. Unverzagt has a passion for the Chiropractic profession and enjoys sharing his passion for wellness with his patients.
